This is what our customers are saying about us!

This off the beaten path, nestled in a small town among empty store fronts downtown was a gem of a surprise! We were traveling south on route 31 and saw the bill board stating a "fine eatery". We just had to see if it was true and found it lived up to its claim. We were greeted very warmly and seated at a table that had a street view. The restaurant space was divided by reclaimed farmhouse type windows giving one the appearance of eating on a enclosed front porch. My husband ordered pasta and as a side one crab cake. I had a chicken salad. The food was nicely presented. My husband, who is picky about his crab cakes, said it was delicious. It had more crab then breading and although it was a reasonable portion size it was priced within reason. The croutons were awesome! They were not to big, soft and full of flavor. I had the sugar cream pie. It was homemade, the kind that grandma would make. It wasn't your plain ol' sugar cream, it was infused with a couple of spices and that pie was to die for. The carrot cake was heavenly and enough for two or take home. This is a Urban upscale farm style restaurant with made from scratch fresh food. So not like your typical restaurants and for us it was like having a home cooked meal. If your heading to South Bend for the game, you'll have to plan to eat here. You'll be happy you did. It's worth the drive from anywhere! - D W. Temecula, CA

Traveling through US 31, we stopped because of a billboard. Best decision ever! We got the southwest egg rolls as a starter, the aioli and daikon was a pleasant surprise! I ordered the special, red snapper with redskin potatoes and asparagus. It was delicious!! My husband got the 14oz Ribeye and was cooked perfectly! We came with our 4 year old and he got the chicken tenders with Broccoli and they were perfect! I am so glad we stopped the staff was so polite and friendly. Definitely a stop worth while! - Mary A. I am so happy to see such a fine restaurant like this crop up in Rochester. It has really brightened up Main Street. The environment inside is clean and modern. It is my understanding that they even have live music from time to time. I had the 4 oz steak sandwich. It wasn't just a slab of meat on a bun. They cooked the steak perfectly and sliced it into bite-sized pieces onto a toasted baguette. On top they added an asiago ranch which paired perfectly with the rest of the sandwich. Will definitely eat here again! - Shaily C. Winona Lake, IN
